Mary D. Burke was married to Thomas M. Burke for 50 years, had six children, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren

Worked as a lab technician at Kent Hospital and Stat Lab, Inc., rising to Director before retiring in 1995

Active in her community through SS. Peter and Paul Church (serving as Christmas Bazaar Chairwoman and Rosary & Altar Guild President), the Red Hat Society, West Warwick Democratic Town Committee, and West Warwick Senior Center Board

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Burke family members
