Adds Westerly to the list of Rhode Island towns requiring retail liquor license applicants to carry commercial, general-liability, liquor liability, and property-damage insurance coverage

Sets minimum insurance coverage at $300,000, or an alternative amount established by local ordinance

Requires insurance certificates to name the town of Westerly as an additional insured and mandate advance notice before any policy modification or cancellation

Insurance must be obtained from a carrier licensed in Rhode Island

Takes effect immediately upon passage
