Celebrates the 12th annual "Physician Anesthesiologists Week" in Rhode Island from January 26th through February 1st, 2026

Recognizes physician anesthesiologists for their 12-14 years of education and 12,000-16,000 hours of training that prepares them for patient safety in operating rooms, delivery rooms, ICUs, and pain management clinics

Acknowledges the Anesthesia Care Team model led by physician anesthesiologists as the gold standard of care used in top hospitals and VA facilities serving 9 million veterans

Urges all Rhode Island citizens to recognize physician anesthesiologists' contributions to surgical patients, veterans, and chronic pain patients

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to The American Society of Anesthesiologists
