Requires all group health insurance policies delivered or renewed in Rhode Island on or after January 1, 2027 to cover pharmacist services that would be covered if performed by a physician, advanced practice nurse, or physician assistant

Covered pharmacist services include patient evaluation and management, medication therapy management review, immunization education and administration, medication administration, and ordering/evaluation of clinical laboratory tests

Prohibits insurers from requiring supervision, signature, or referral by another healthcare provider as a condition for reimbursing pharmacists, though insurers are not required to pay for duplicative services

Requires health plans to include an adequate number of pharmacists in their medical provider networks, separate from pharmacy participation in drug benefit networks

Provisions sunset and expire on January 1, 2031 unless extended by the general assembly; Medicaid state plan amendment must be submitted by September 1, 2026
