Increases maximum imprisonment for "driving so as to endanger, resulting in serious bodily injury" from 5 years to 10 years

Doubles penalties for DUI resulting in death: imprisonment increased from 5-15 years to 5-30 years, maximum fine raised from $10,000 to $20,000, and license revocation period extended from 5 years to 5-10 years

Increases penalties for DUI resulting in serious bodily injury: maximum imprisonment raised from 10 years to 20 years, maximum fine doubled from $5,000 to $10,000, and license revocation extended from up to 2 years to 3-5 years

Eliminates enhanced penalties for second or subsequent DUI offenses resulting in death or serious bodily injury, replacing them with the new single penalty ranges
