Prohibits government agencies, employers, private businesses, and educational institutions from mandating "indemnified" (liability-free) products when refusal would result in loss of employment, promotion, employment opportunity, or access to public or private education

Grants consumers and their guardians the right to decline recommended indemnified products without facing harassment or adverse consequences to their employment or education

Requires the Rhode Island Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit to pursue cases where consumers face job loss, educational exclusion, or harassment for declining indemnified products

Allows employees to seek civil remedies and other legal relief for violations, with recovery enforceable against successor employers in mergers or consolidations

Permits consumers to opt out of recommended indemnified products with a simple written statement, without requiring any explanation for their decision
