Repeals multiple provisions related to energy efficiency charges collected by electric and gas distribution companies in Rhode Island

Eliminates the annual $5 million allocation from demand-side management funds to the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank for energy efficiency and clean energy project financing

Removes the requirement for the Office of Energy Resources to issue requests for proposals for third-party administration of statewide energy efficiency programs

Deletes provisions allowing the Public Utilities Commission to allocate up to 3% of demand-side management funds annually for expert consultants and administration of energy efficiency programs

Takes effect immediately upon passage
