Receiving districts must report quarterly to home districts on student status in career and technical education (CTE) or pathways programs, including notification when students stop participating or matriculating.

Home districts pay only the receiving district's actual cost when that cost is lower than the home district's per pupil expenditure.

Home districts are responsible only for actual transportation costs to the receiving district, overriding existing provisions in the school transportation statute.

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education may promulgate rules and regulations to implement these requirements.
