Amends Rhode Island workers' compensation law to protect certain third-party lawsuit recoveries from reimbursement to insurers, including damages for pain and suffering, loss of consortium, loss of society, loss of wages/earning capacity, and other damages not fully compensated by workers' compensation

Requires reimbursement amounts to be reduced by any percentage of the employee's comparative negligence in third-party claims

Assigns jurisdiction over disputes regarding appropriate apportionment of reimbursement amounts to the court handling the underlying third-party claim

Takes effect upon passage
