Eligible applicants include manufacturing business owners and workers at entities that transform raw materials or components into final products using hands, machinery, tools, or equipment; excludes motor vehicle manufacturers

Plates feature blue letters and numbers on white background with "Rhode Island" at top and "MID" displayed vertically on the left side

Applicants must verify their occupation in manufacturing and pay a $20.00 service charge for the plate, in addition to standard registration fees

Takes effect six months after passage
