Allows customers with solar lease or purchase agreements to be discharged from making the first payment installment following a catastrophic loss event

Requires customers to provide reasonable documentation of property destruction (such as insurance claims or fire department reports) to qualify for temporary payment suspension

Mandates that standard disclosure forms include information about the procedure for temporarily suspending payments after catastrophic loss and notification that an updated payment schedule will be provided

Applies only to system lease and purchase agreements entered into after the act's effective date; does not discharge customers from the total number of payments owed under their agreements
