Mandates facilities provide meeting space, prominent posting areas for council information, and respond in writing or in person within 30 business days to written requests or concerns from councils

Councils serve in advisory and collaborative capacity only, addressing general resident matters rather than individual grievances, and cannot access confidential information about individual residents or staff

Requires minimum 120-day notice period for rate increases at assisted living residences providing assisted living services
