Expands reimbursement options for public-health dental hygienists working in public-health settings to include "other insurance" and third-party payors such as Medicare, in addition to existing Medicaid reimbursement

Removes the previous prohibition that prevented public-health dental hygienists from seeking reimbursement from insurance sources beyond Medicaid and state healthcare insurance programs

Maintains existing requirements that public-health dental hygienists must have written collaborative agreements with government agencies or licensed dentists and provide patient consent forms

Takes effect immediately upon passage
