Legislative Description

Allow Counties To Designate All Or A Portion Of A Multicounty Park As A "designated Economic Development Site" For Extraordinary Commercial Facilities, To Provide The Eligibility Criteria For A Site So Designated, To Allow The Agreement Establishing The Site To Direct The Department Of Revenue To Remit Up To Three-fourths Of A Portion Of State Sales Tax Revenue Collected In The Site Otherwise Credited To The General Fund Of The State To The Counties That Are Party To The Agreement, To Provide The Uses To Which This Sales Tax Revenue Remitted To The Party Counties Must Be Applied, And To Sunset New Designations Five Years After The Effective Date Of This Act.
