Legislative Description

Provide That The Board Of Teacher Certification Has Exclusive Authority To Regulate The Certification Of Teachers, To Provide Further Conforming Changes, And To Correct Archaic Language; To Provide That All Powers, Duties, And Responsibilities Of The State Board Of Education With Regard To Teacher Certification Must Be Devolved To The Board Of Teacher Certification Upon The Effective Date Of This Act; And To Provide That All Regulations Promulgated By The State Board Of Education With Regard To Teacher Certification Are Deemed To Have Been Promulgated By The Board Of Teacher Certification Upon The Effective Date Of This Act.
