Requires free forensic medical examinations for survivors regardless of whether they participate in the criminal justice system or cooperate with law enforcement, and permits anonymous reporting

Prohibits using forensic evidence collected from a survivor to prosecute them for misdemeanor crimes or drug offenses under state narcotics laws

Mandates prompt analysis of sexual assault forensic evidence and requires retention for the duration of the statute of limitations; survivors have the right to request status updates and DNA analysis results

Protects survivor identifying information from public disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act and requires healthcare providers and law enforcement to provide written information about survivors' rights at initial contact
