Prohibits circuit court judges from issuing bench warrants for failure to appear in General Sessions court upon a solicitor's motion unless the solicitor has posted a list of potential bench warrants at the courthouse and on the solicitor's website at least 48 hours in advance

Applies only after a defendant's initial appearance in court

Does not apply when the presiding judge issues the bench warrant on their own initiative (sua sponte) or when the person was personally served with an appearance date

Creates new Section 17-15-175 in the South Carolina Code of Laws

Takes effect upon Governor's approval
