Prohibits any amendment, modification, correction, or other change to an individual's gender as it appears on their original birth certificate in South Carolina

Removes references to "gender changes" from the delayed birth certificate process, limiting court orders to establishing only "gender at birth"

Updates the Department of Health and Environmental Control references to "Department of Public Health" to reflect agency reorganization

Restricts family court jurisdiction by preventing courts from hearing or determining actions to change the gender listed on an original birth certificate

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
