Fertilized human eggs or human embryos existing outside the uterus are explicitly excluded from being considered an "unborn child," "minor child," "unborn person," "unborn fetus," "natural person," or any term connoting a human being under South Carolina state law

The exclusion applies to all purposes under state law, specifically including criminal provisions in Chapter 3, Title 16 and health regulations in Chapter 41, Title 44

Adds new Section 16-3-100 to the South Carolina Code of Laws under Article 1, Chapter 3, Title 16

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
