Requires ALPR systems at weigh stations to be installed only at entrance ramps for reviewing commercial motor vehicles

Limits data retention to 90 days maximum, with captured plate data to be destroyed after an investigation concludes without charges or after any related criminal action ends

Prohibits governmental entities from selling, trading, or exchanging captured plate data, though law enforcement may share data indicating evidence of an offense with other agencies

Violations constitute a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year imprisonment
