SLED (State Law Enforcement Division) must develop and manage a statewide sexual extortion investigation and outcome database for information sharing between federal, state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies

All state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies are required to furnish sexual extortion-related information they acquire to SLED for inclusion in the database

SLED has discretion to determine whether information from federal law enforcement and other states' agencies will be included in the database

SLED is authorized to promulgate emergency and permanent regulations governing database information collection criteria and punishment for intentional misuse of the database

Database information is exempt from Freedom of Information Act disclosure requirements
