Amends Section 40-47-32 of South Carolina Code regarding physician licensure examination requirements administered by the Board of Medical Examiners

Currently waives additional examination requirements for physicians practicing at specific state agencies including Department of Corrections, DHEC, Department of Mental Health, Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, and Vocational Rehabilitation's Disability Determination Services

Adds new provision allowing the Board of Medical Examiners to waive the additional examination requirement for any applicant if the board determines they possess requisite general medical knowledge to competently practice medicine

Requires the board to make findings of fact concerning the education and experience of applicants when granting examination waivers under the new discretionary provision

Takes effect upon Governor's approval
