Requires all law enforcement agencies in South Carolina to check the immigration status of every person arrested using the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program

Mandates that a person's immigration status be recorded in their criminal record upon arrest, conviction, or both

Requires SLED to submit an annual report to the General Assembly by January 1st each year detailing the number of persons arrested and/or convicted who are in the state illegally during the previous 12 months

Officially titled the "Citizenship Verification Act"
