Expands the legal definition of "race, color, or national origin" to include associated characteristics such as skin color, facial features, hair texture, and natural hairstyles (including afros, braids, twists, and locs)

Prohibits discrimination based on these expanded definitions in housing, education, public accommodations, and employment throughout South Carolina

Provides an exception for employers and educational organizations to regulate hairstyles and other characteristics when necessary for health and safety of employees or students, provided they make good faith efforts to accommodate individuals

Amends multiple sections of South Carolina Code including fair housing laws (Title 31), education laws (Title 59), public accommodations laws (Title 45), and employment discrimination laws (Title 1)
