Grants individuals the right to appeal a court determination that they are not entitled to immunity under the Protection of Persons and Property Act (South Carolina's self-defense/stand your ground law)

Allows appeal of immunity denial even after the defendant enters a guilty plea to the same underlying offense

Overrides standard judicial waiver rules that would normally prevent appeals following a guilty plea

Preserves pending actions, rights, and prosecutions existing before the act's effective date

Takes effect upon Governor's approval
