Amends South Carolina Code Section 20-3-130 to add a definition of "supported spouse" in alimony proceedings

Defines "supported spouse" as the party who receives financial support from their spouse or former spouse after separation or divorce when their income capacity is below the threshold necessary to pay bills, support children, or support themselves

Maintains existing prohibition on alimony for a spouse who commits adultery before either signing a written settlement agreement or entry of a permanent order

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
