Prohibits any South Carolina governmental entity (courts, General Assembly, political subdivisions, or agencies with adjudicatory/rulemaking authority) from granting or recognizing legal personhood to non-human entities

Specifically bars legal personhood for artificial intelligence, inanimate objects, bodies of water, land, real property, atmospheric gases, astronomical objects, weather, plants, and nonhuman animals

Defines "human being" as a member of the species Homo sapiens, establishing that only humans may hold legal personhood status

Adds a new Article 29 titled "Legal Personhood" to Chapter 1, Title 1 of the South Carolina Code

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
