Expands the definition of "household member" under South Carolina's Protection from Domestic Abuse Act to include persons who are presently or were recently in a dating relationship

Adds a new definition for "dating relationship" as a romantic, courtship, or engagement relationship between two individuals that does not require sexual involvement

Courts may consider four factors when determining if a dating relationship exists: length of the relationship, nature or type of relationship, frequency of interaction, and time since termination if applicable

Explicitly excludes casual relationships or ordinary fraternization in business or social contexts from the definition of "dating relationship"

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
