Expands the state flag half-mast requirement on burial days to include emergency medical technicians, in addition to firefighters and law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty

Creates a state income tax deduction for all military and first responder retirement income, available to retirees and surviving spouses

Extends the property tax exemption for surviving spouses of law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty to also include surviving spouses of emergency medical technicians

Provides tuition waivers at state colleges, universities, and technical schools for children of emergency medical technicians who are killed or totally disabled in the line of duty
