Creates the "SLED Executive Protection Unit" to provide security and transportation services for the Governor, first lady, Governor's minor children, and Lieutenant Governor

Authorizes SLED to extend protective services to visiting governors, legislative leaders from other states, federal officials, and U.S. Executive Branch appointees upon request and approval by the SLED Chief

Establishes criminal offenses for knowingly entering restricted buildings or grounds without authority, engaging in disruptive conduct, refusing to comply with law enforcement orders during protective movements, or obstructing ingress/egress

Violations involving a deadly weapon or causing great bodily injury constitute a felony punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment; other violations are misdemeanors punishable by up to 3 years imprisonment

Authorizes SLED to coordinate with and request assistance from other state law enforcement agencies to carry out protective duties
