Requires all hospitals in South Carolina with emergency departments to have at least one physician physically present on-site at all times the emergency department is open

Applies to every hospital regardless of classification as a condition of both initial licensing and license renewal

Adds new Section 44-7-268 to the South Carolina Code of Laws under Article 3, Chapter 7, Title 44

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
