Founded in 1925 by Walter Phillip Rawl and Ernestine Price Rawl, the company evolved from a family farm with a cannery to a fully diversified fresh vegetable operation by the late 1970s

Currently operates approximately 9,000 acres of production in South Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, with processing and distribution facilities in South Carolina and Florida

Employs 750 people plus 11 family members from the second, third, and fourth generations who remain actively involved in operations

Recognizes the company as a leader in production of fresh leafy greens, green onions, and other vegetables, and acknowledges the founders' pioneering contributions to irrigation, hydrocooling, exporting, marketing, and food safety
