Prohibits public schools and open-enrollment charter schools from serving food containing six specific synthetic dyes: Blue dye 1, Blue dye 2, Green dye 3, Red dye 40, Yellow dye 5, and Yellow dye 6

Applies to food acquired through contracts entered into or renewed after June 30, 2025

Extends the dye prohibition to food brought by students, teachers, or others to share at school parties, special celebrations, or cultural events when authorized by a teacher or administrator

Adds new Section 59-63-755 to the South Carolina Code of Laws under Article 7, Chapter 63, Title 59

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
