Honors Shuler's service in the Army National Guard and his career as head of the Engineering Department at Shaw Air Force Base until his retirement in 1991

Recognizes his work as an associate professor of HVAC at Sumter Area Technical College and his role as a charter member and deacon of Crosspoint Baptist Church

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the family of Donald Rhett Shuler
