Recognizes and honors the James Monroe Mission House in Fountain Inn for 20 years of providing food and clothing assistance to residents of Greenville and Laurens Counties

The organization was founded on April 5, 2005 by members of Trinity United Methodist Church, inspired by the late Dr. James Monroe and his wife Mary, initially delivering donated food boxes to families

Operates entirely with volunteer staff, currently serving approximately 200 individuals and families each week from a former church parsonage every Monday morning

Partners with Harvest Hope food bank and Loaves & Fishes food rescue organization, with funding coming exclusively from sponsoring churches and donations from organizations, schools, businesses, and individuals

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the James Monroe Mission House
