Expresses the South Carolina House of Representatives' profound sorrow upon the death of Gedney Main Howe III of Charleston, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at age 78

Honors Howe III's legal career, including his work as lead attorney at the Law Offices of Gedney M. Howe III P.A., where he represented individuals, businesses, schools, and the State of South Carolina, notably handling "Operation Lost Trust," one of the largest legislative corruption cases in U.S. history

Recognizes his over 20-year restoration of the Calhoun Mansion at 16 Meeting Street, a 24,000 square-foot historic property from 1876, as well as his renovation of a historic firehouse on Chalmers Street for his law office

Acknowledges his reputation for generosity, including putting people through college and providing anonymous assistance to those in need

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the family of Gedney Main Howe III
