Recognizes their actions on November 4, 2023, when they pursued a wanted felon in Bluffton who had a violent criminal history and was wanted for Burglary First Degree involving a stolen firearm

The suspect fired multiple shots at the pursuing deputies during a high-speed chase before Sergeant Anderson used a precision immobilization technique to stop the vehicle in a wooded area away from homes

Both deputies discharged their weapons to protect themselves after the suspect's vehicle crashed; the suspect was found deceased while a front seat passenger was unharmed

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to both Sergeant Anderson and Corporal Partridge
