Expresses the South Carolina House of Representatives' profound sorrow upon the death of Dimitrios Konstantinos Kakouras of Spartanburg, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at age 65

Honors Kakouras, a Greek immigrant who came to America with his family and worked in the restaurant business, eventually opening the Grapevine Restaurant in Boiling Springs in 2008

Recognizes his community contributions, including being named Citizen of the Year by the Boiling Springs Business Association in 2011 and receiving the Gregory Memorial Award in 2024

Extends deepest sympathy to his surviving family members, including his wife Marina Peggy Kakouras, sons Konstantinos and Christos, grandson Dimitri, and brothers

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the family
