Requests renaming the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Annual Legislative Softball Game to the "BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Mary Elizabeth Mullikin Annual Legislative Softball Game" in honor of Mary Elizabeth Mullikin, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at age 38

Mary Elizabeth Mullikin was a lawyer and lobbyist at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina who previously served in the White House under President George W. Bush and worked in the South Carolina Senate

She earned her law degree from Charleston School of Law in 2011 and gained expertise in healthcare and insurance law while working at the Mullikin Law Firm founded by her parents

Mullikin served on the board of directors of Pathways to Healing, a nonprofit organization supporting victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and to the Mullikin family
