Celebrates the 85th anniversary of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Elgin, South Carolina, with a formal gala on May 16, 2025

Recognizes the church's founding in 1940 by deacons Mason Hudson and P.B. Boyd, with early services held in homes, a schoolhouse, and a peach orchard shed before a wooden church was built in 1954

Congratulates current senior pastor Reverend Dr. Willie J. Thompson Jr., who has served since 2017 and grown membership to over 600 with more than 100 new members

Acknowledges the church's community outreach including a Back-Pack Outreach program, school mentors, and plans for a S.T.R.E.A.M. Center to provide children training in science, technology, engineering, and math careers

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Reverend Dr. Willie J. Thompson Jr.
