Recognizes and honors Anthony Jerome McKnight for his distinguished career as a singer, entertainer, and founder of the vocal group "Dynamic Diamonds" (later renamed "The Black Velvets") while attending Burke High School in Charleston

Acknowledges McKnight's U.S. Navy service from 1973-1975 aboard the USS Orion and his later work as a Disabled American Veteran service officer for Chapter 77 beginning in 2013

Commends McKnight for founding Oceanfront Productions Recording Studio in Pawley's Island in 1997 and serving as president of the South Carolina Chapter of the Motown Alumni Association

Recognizes McKnight's efforts to honor his cousin James Jamerson, an influential Motown bassist, including securing a headstone in 2019, producing five Jamerson Bass Symposiums, and helping name a street after him on Edisto Island in 2023

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Anthony Jerome McKnight
