Department of Veterans' Affairs must adopt and execute criteria, policies, and procedures for admissions to and discharges from South Carolina veterans' homes

Within 60 days of adopting or amending admission/discharge policies, the department must submit the full text to the House Government Efficiency and Legislative Oversight Committee and Senate Legislative Oversight Committee for informational purposes

Submitted criteria must include a summary of stakeholder engagement and an analysis of potential impacts on low-income, disabled, and minority veterans, and must be publicly accessible on the department's website

Department of Veterans' Affairs is authorized to set and collect fees for residence and services at veterans' homes

Department may accept assignment of state or federal benefits as full or partial payment for veterans' home fees
