Requires the Department of Social Services and Department of Employment and Workforce to collaborate on offering workforce development childcare stipends to unemployed parents and caregivers

Stipends cover childcare for children under age 12 while the parent or caregiver attends job interviews

Participating childcare centers must be located throughout South Carolina to ensure meaningful access for unemployed residents statewide

Childcare centers accepting the stipends must maintain sufficient capacity to provide as-needed access for eligible children during job interviews

Takes effect upon Governor's approval
