Commends Corey Bedenbaugh, social studies teacher at Batesburg-Leesville Middle School in Lexington County School District Three, for being named 2026 South Carolina Teacher of the Year

Award was presented on April 24, 2025, at the South Carolina Department of Education's Gala in the Garden at the Governor's Mansion in Columbia

Bedenbaugh received $25,000 and use of a BMW for one year as part of the award

As Teacher of the Year, he will serve as a roving ambassador attending events, mentoring, working with teacher cadets and fellows, and serving as state spokesperson for over 64,000 educators

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Corey Bedenbaugh
