Commends student interns from the University of South Carolina Department of Political Science's undergraduate internship program for their service to the state

Program completed its fifth semester under Dr. Joshua Meyer-Gutbrod, hosting 80 students during the 2024-2025 academic year

Interns served in various placements including 27 in state executive agencies, 14 in the House of Representatives, 3 in the Senate, 10 with the City of Columbia, and 3 with Richland County

Students must complete a 120-hour internship during the semester and attend a course on state government to participate

Resolution directs that a copy be presented to the University of South Carolina Department of Political Science's undergraduate internship program
