Honors Rev. Dr. Louis C. Williams Sr., pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in St. Matthews, South Carolina, for his many years of gospel ministry and congratulates him on his retirement

Rev. Williams was born October 9, 1947, in Fort Motte, graduated from John Ford High School in 1966, and earned certificates from Manhattan Bible Institute, a bachelor's degree from College of New Rochelle, and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Virginia University of Lynchburg

Under his pastoral leadership, Antioch Baptist Church grew spiritually and numerically, added eight ministers, created Wednesday night Bible study, built a new fellowship hall and steeple, and remodeled the church front

Rev. Williams also retired from the United States Postal Inspection Service after 35 years as a postal police supervisor with the rank of sergeant
