Expresses the South Carolina General Assembly's profound sorrow upon the death of the Honorable Ralph King Anderson Jr. of Florence County, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at age 88

Honors his service in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1972 to 1979, where he was named 1978 Outstanding Legislator of the Year by The Greenville News for his work on election laws

Recognizes his judicial career spanning nearly three decades, including 17 years as a Circuit Court judge (1979-1996), service on the South Carolina Court of Appeals (1996-2008), and as chief administrative judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit (2008-2010)

Notes he received the Order of the Palmetto in 2008 and is the honoree of the Ralph King Anderson Jr. Service Award created by the Florence County Bar

Extends deepest sympathy to his surviving family, including his children Debra Arlene and Ralph King Anderson III, and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the family
