Recognizes EMS teams for providing lifesaving care 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Acknowledges the EMS system includes first responders, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, firefighters, police officers, emergency nurses, emergency physicians, and other out-of-hospital care providers

Notes that EMS personnel, whether career or volunteer, undergo thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the South Carolina EMS Association
