Recognizes his distinguished career in public education spanning over 30 years, including 26 years as principal of Geiger Elementary School in Ridgeway and 7 years as principal of Woodward Elementary School in Blackstock

Honors his service as the first Black magistrate elected in Fairfield County since Reconstruction, beginning in 1970

Acknowledges his military service in the United States Army and South Carolina State Guard, along with his involvement in civic organizations including the NAACP and Fairfield County Council

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Mr. Cook
