Requires "Sexually Violent Predator" printed in red on driver's licenses and ID cards for persons adjudicated as sexually violent predators under Chapter 48, Title 44

Requires "Sex Offender" printed in red on driver's licenses and ID cards for persons required to register as sex offenders under Article 7, Chapter 3, Title 12 who are not classified as sexually violent predators

Persons subject to these requirements must obtain the new marked license or ID card within 30 days of adjudication or release from the Department of Corrections

Upon termination of sexually violent predator or sex offender status, individuals may obtain documentation from SLED to receive a new license or ID without the identifier

Violations constitute a misdemeanor punishable by up to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $500
